ROCK BAND!

Jackson & Gluckstadt: Mondays 6:00-7:30pm beginning November 10th!

#33/class (charged at $100/month during months of classes November-February)

Join us for a weekly jam session where young musicians become rock stars! Students in this 12-week class will learn how to play together as a real band, building teamwork, rhythm, and stage confidence while preparing songs for their very own performance. Each class combines instrument instruction with band rehearsals, giving students hands-on experience in what it’s like to rock the stage! Students should already be proficient on their instrument and comfortable playing basic songs independently. No prior band experience required. The class wraps up with a live performance at our February Winter Recital!

Our Jackson class is taught by the awesome Mr. Chris, a passionate musician who knows how to bring out the best in every student. With years of experience performing and teaching, he helps students sharpen their skills, explore different styles, and most importantly—have fun making music together!

Our Gluckstadt class is led by the talented Mr. Jayme, whose energy and expertise make every class feel like band practice with your favorite crew. From learning new riffs to locking in solid rhythms, he helps students gain confidence, build musicianship, and take the stage like pros!

Broadway Blast!

$100/month during months of classes (5 months for Jackson, 4 months for Gluckstadt)

Join us for this weekly class where aspiring actors embark upon a musical journey! Students in this class will learn performance skills while practicing lines, and musicianship while learning the songs for their very own musical. A friendly and passionate teacher leads this 16-week class to put on a published musical! The musical learned is age-level appropriate and created specifically for young performers. No prior performance experience is necessary! Students will perform their musical at our February Winter Recital!

Our Jackson class is taught by the wonderful Camden Dixon! Camden is a bright and energetic voice and acting teacher who brings the same passion to the classroom that he brings to the stage. With years of performance experience in both leading and behind-the-scenes roles—ranging from playing Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame to assistant music directing Frozen Jr. Join us for this fun class!

Our Gluckstadt class is taught by the talented Sarah Blackwell! Sarah brings Broadway sparkle to our youngest performers! With her warm energy and love for musical theatre, she makes every class a blast—literally. Sarah helps kids step into the spotlight with confidence, teaching them to sing, dance, and act their hearts out while having tons of fun.

Musikgarten for 16 mos to 4 years old

16 months-2 years: Saturdays from 10-10:30

3-4 years: Saturdays from 10:45-11:30

Our Musikgarten program is dedicated to nurturing a lifelong love for music in children. At 601 Studios, we believe that music education is essential for holistic development. Through a carefully designed curriculum, our experienced instructor guides children in exploring rhythm, melody, and movement in a fun and engaging environment. From the earliest moments of musical discovery to the development of more advanced skills, Musikgarten classes foster cognitive growth, social interaction, and emotional well-being.

Manga and Cartoon Drawing Class For kids

Tuesdays w/ Justin Ransburg

4-5p • ages 8+ • $30 per class

Join Jackson native artist Justin Ransburg for this weekly class that engages in the artistry of drawing and illustration, and dabble in the world of cartoons and manga as well. Participants will get quality instruction from this artist who has collaborated for children’s books, publications, murals, and much more. Participants should bring basic tools for drawing. Extras will be on hand at the studios if needed.

Manga and Cartoon Drawing Class For ADults

Tuesdays w/ Justin Ransburg

6-7p • ages 18+ • $30 per class

In this class, participants will learn how to craft a story and structure it visually into comic panels. They will also become familiar with comics terminology along the way!

Basic materials are provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own as well. Each lesson is 60 minutes.
